Workout Music - Pictures Of You - The Cure

posted in Workout Music |

Pictures Of You is one of my favorite songs. It is performed by The Cure and was first introduced on the CD Disintegration, which came out in 1989 (hard to believe it was so long ago, and yet remains so relevant to this day).

I love The Cure. I always have. Robert Smith, the lead singer and mastermind of The Cure, is very cerebral and his music is never pretentious.

This song holds lots of memories for me. When I was traveling in my R32 I listened to Pictures of You over and over. It became one of my favorite workout tunes. I hope you like it.

(PS: Robert Smith is the guy with the wild hair and lipstick. He is the lead singer. He is supposedly a really nice guy, and I think you catch a glimpse of his nice nature when you see him look at his fellow bandmate who is playing rythym guitar. He just looks at him and smiles this friendly smile. It is a brief moment, but it is just really heart warming).
